Who we are

CanadaClaw Inc. (“CanadaClaw”, “we”, “us”) is a managed AI operations assistant for Canadian businesses. We are based in Toronto, Ontario. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

What we collect

When you sign up or use CanadaClaw, we may collect:

• Your name, email address, and business name
• Business type and timezone preferences
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe; we never store card numbers)
• Emails and messages you forward to your AI employee for processing
• Usage data such as login times and feature usage

Where your data is stored

All customer data is stored and processed on servers located in Canada. Our infrastructure providers, including Supabase (database and authentication) and our AI employee hosting, are configured to use Canadian data centres exclusively. Your data does not leave Canada.

How we use your data

We use your information to:

• Set up and operate your AI employee
• Process emails and appointments on your behalf
• Send you transactional emails (setup confirmations, billing notices)
• Improve our service and fix issues
• Process payments through Stripe

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Payment processing

Payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. When you enter payment information, it goes directly to Stripe's secure servers. We only receive a customer ID and subscription status, never your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data they process.

Authentication

Account authentication is managed by Supabase. If you sign in with Google, GitHub, or Apple, we receive only your email address and display name from those providers. We do not access your contacts, files, or other account data.

PIPEDA compliance

We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. To make a request, email us at privacy@canadaclaw.ca.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we delete your processed emails and AI employee data within 30 days. Basic account information (name, email) is retained for 90 days for billing and support purposes, then deleted.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics scripts run on our site.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
