Terms of Service
Last updated: April 14, 2026
Agreement
By creating an account or using CanadaClaw, you agree to these terms. If you're using CanadaClaw on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
What CanadaClaw provides
CanadaClaw is a managed AI operations assistant. We set up and run AI employees that handle email triage, appointment scheduling, invoice follow-ups, and content drafting for your business. The service includes:
- AI employee setup and configuration
- Ongoing hosting on Canadian servers
- Email forwarding infrastructure
- Dashboard access for monitoring and management
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate business and contact information
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Ensure you have the right to forward emails to your AI employee (i.e., you own the email account or have permission from its owner)
- Not use the service for spam, harassment, or any illegal activity
- Comply with applicable Canadian privacy laws (including PIPEDA) regarding the data you process through CanadaClaw
Billing and subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Prices are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise noted. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal in your dashboard. Your service continues until the end of the current billing period.
Founding member pricing is locked in for the lifetime of your continuous subscription. If you cancel and resubscribe later, the founding discount no longer applies.
The one-time White-Glove Setup fee is non-refundable once the setup call has been completed.
Data and privacy
Your data is stored and processed in Canada. We take privacy seriously. See our Privacy Policy for full details. The short version: we don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and it never leaves Canadian servers.
AI-generated content
CanadaClaw's AI employees generate draft replies, summaries, and messages based on your business data. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before they are sent to your clients. CanadaClaw is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. If extended downtime occurs, we'll communicate through email and your dashboard.
Limitation of liability
CanadaClaw's total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits or lost data.
Termination
You can close your account at any time from your dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, we delete your processed data within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use CanadaClaw after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
